Hi, I'm Lilly!
I am a pet portrait artist based in South Yorkshire, specializing in graphite. I also create charcoal and blue biro originals and prints. My love for animals has been with me for as long as I can remember. Growing up I was always surrounded by animals, and they have remained a huge part of my life ever since. Today I share my home with my cat, 4 budgies and a bearded dragon, who constantly remind me how special every pet truly is. What animals can you draw?
I welcome all pets and animals! As a bird and reptile owner myself, I know that they are all as meaningful and loved as a dog or cat. From dogs and cats to horses, hamsters, birds, fish, and reptiles, I would love to draw them all <3
Can you draw multiple pets in one drawing?
Yes! The more the merrier, for no extra cost. Larger paper sizes will allow for more pets in one piece, but all sizes can comfortably fit 2 pets on.
Can you do custom backgrounds?
Most of my pet portraits are on a plain white background, however I am happy to do a solid-black, or grey background :)
Can I have lots of progress photos?
Of course! I keep customers updated with the progress when I have started, reached halfway, and completed the drawing. For more updates and process photos just ask!
How do you price your work?
My prices cover cost of materials, worldwide postage, packaging, the time I spend on the drawing, as-well as admin, marketing and upkeep. Each drawing takes from 8-20+ hours depending on size, and many layers and details ensure each drawing looks exactly like your pet.
What is the difference between graphite, charcoal, prints and originals?
I use graphite for pet portrait commissions as I have used it for years and am fully confident it will look exactly like your pet. I use charcoal for original animal art as I did my first charcoal piece in December 2025 and really enjoyed the solid black it gives, and the matte finish; I decided to consistently practice and improve, and may introduce charcoal pet portraits and custom animal art in the future. Originals are the pieces I've drawn from an idea, or inspiration in my free time. Prints are a high quality copy of my originals, they are accessible to a wider audience, and perfect for gifts or to treat yourself.
Why animals and pets?
I have always connected more deeply with animals than people, and animals have always been such a huge part of my life. Nature is so beautiful and I love to draw all kinds of animals
